  • IKEA Alexandra and IKEA Tampines have the cheapest charging of the malls and stores on this page, at S$0.45 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) on Charge+'s alternating-current (AC) plugs.
  • Great World City and Pasir Ris Mall have the cheapest fast charging of these malls and stores, at S$0.60 per kWh on Great Charge's direct-current (DC) plugs.
  • The cheapest charger open to the public in Singapore is S$0.43 per kWh, at the Singapore Polytechnic Graduates' Guild on Dover Road.
  • This page gives prices, parking and busy times at each mall and store.

As of 16 October 2026, IKEA's Alexandra and Tampines stores both charge S$0.45 per kWh for AC charging run by Charge+: 22kW points at Alexandra, 7.4kW at Tampines.

For a fast charge, Great Charge's hubs are the better choice, with points up to 480kW at Great World City and 180kW at Pasir Ris Mall.

How the rates compare

Lowest listed rate in Singapore: S$0.34 per kWh, at the Schneider Electric Building on Kallang Avenue. Those chargers are for the staff who work there, not the public, and the revolt.sg charger map marks them "Restricted access".

Cheapest open to the public: S$0.43 per kWh, on a 7.4kW AC point run by Eneready at the Singapore Polytechnic Graduates' Guild on Dover Road (postal code 139658).

Lowest DC rate on the map: S$0.39 per kWh, on a 30kW unit at Millage on Changi Road, which the revolt.sg charger map marks "Possibly restricted" because visitor access is not confirmed.

Cheapest fast DC (50kW or more) open to the public: S$0.50 per kWh, on a 180kW ultra-fast unit at the Singapore Polytechnic Graduates' Guild on Dover Road.

Parking can change which is cheapest

Parking at IKEA: IKEA Tampines does not charge for parking from 7am to 11pm daily, but IKEA Alexandra charges S$0.06 a minute, or S$3.60 an hour.

Charging hours: charging at both stores is open from 10am to 10pm daily, and the EV lots are only for cars that are charging.

IKEA Alexandra with parking: a driver who parks there just to charge pays at least S$0.16 more per kWh, even in a car that takes the full 22kW.

With an IKEA receipt: from 25 May 2026, IKEA Alexandra customers can park for three hours at no charge by scanning a same-day receipt at the car park gantry. The revolt.sg charger map shows the parking charges at IKEA Alexandra and IKEA Tampines.

The Graduates' Guild: a clubhouse, but its car park is open to non-members, who pay for parking on top of the charge.

Parking at the Guild: from Monday to Saturday, S$1.20 an hour, charged by the minute. On Sundays and public holidays, the Guild does not charge for parking from 7.01am to 10.30pm. The revolt.sg charger map shows the Guild's parking charges too.

With parking added: the 7.4kW point there adds at most 7.4kWh an hour, so from Monday to Saturday parking adds at least S$0.16 per kWh, for a total of at least S$0.59 per kWh. On those days, between 10am and 10pm, IKEA Tampines works out cheaper.

At weekends, a plug is easier to get at IKEA Tampines

The revolt.sg charger map shows 18 plugs at IKEA Tampines.

On weekdays, only the six plugs on Level 1 are open, and from 10am to 10pm they are very tight. At weekends, when all 18 are open, they are tight to moderate.

Some lots there are kept for IKEA's own commercial vehicles.

IKEA Alexandra has three plugs, and they are hard to get: very tight from 10am to 10pm, on weekdays and at weekends.
