- This page gives busy times, parking and what a typical charge costs.
As of 16 October 2026, electric vehicle (EV) charging at VivoCity costs S$0.68 per kWh on Charge+'s AC plugs and S$0.80 per kWh on its DC plugs.
For a fast charge, Charge+'s DC plugs are the easiest to get, with six plugs at up to 120kW.
Chargers at VivoCity
Charge+ runs three AC plugs at 22kW and six DC plugs, four at 60kW and two at 120kW, while SP Mobility runs two AC plugs at 43kW and two DC plugs at 50kW.
| Operator | Plugs | S$ per kWh | Open to the public? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Charge+ | 3 AC, 22kW, Type 2 | S$0.68 | Yes, a public mall car park |
| Charge+ | 4 DC, 60kW, Combo 2 (CCS2) | S$0.80 | Yes, a public mall car park |
| Charge+ | 2 DC, 120kW, Combo 2 (CCS2) | S$0.80 | Yes, a public mall car park |

| SP Mobility | 2 DC, 50kW, Combo 2 (CCS2) | S$0.89 | Yes, a public mall car park |
Charge+: its plugs are on levels 2, 3 and 4 of the multi-storey car park, with one AC plug and two DC plugs on each level. Its two 120kW DC plugs are on level 3.
SP Mobility: its four plugs are in the B2 car park at Lobby H, in lots 10 to 13.
Peak hours: power capacity at VivoCity is limited, so Charge+'s output may vary at times of peak power use, such as Friday and weekend evenings.
Charging speed: each kW figure is the charger's maximum. A car charges only as fast as it can take.
How the rates compare
Lowest listed rate in Singapore: S$0.34 per kWh, at the Schneider Electric Building on Kallang Avenue. Those chargers are for the staff who work there, not the public, and the revolt.sg charger map marks them "Restricted access".
Cheapest open to the public: S$0.43 per kWh, on a 7.4kW AC point run by Eneready at the Singapore Polytechnic Graduates' Guild on Dover Road (postal code 139658).
Lowest listed DC rate: S$0.39 per kWh, on a 30kW unit at Millage on Changi Road. The revolt.sg charger map marks it "Possibly restricted" because visitor access is not confirmed.
Cheapest fast DC open to the public: S$0.50 per kWh for 50kW or more, on a 180kW ultra-fast unit at the Singapore Polytechnic Graduates' Guild on Dover Road.
The median public rate: S$0.70 per kWh for AC and S$0.81 for fast DC (50kW to 150kW). Charge+'s AC and DC rates here are below the AC and fast DC medians, and SP Mobility's are above them.
Cheapest in each area: the Singapore EV Charging Price Index lists the cheapest public AC, fast DC and ultra-fast DC chargers, with their places, and the cheapest in each part of the island.
When it is busy
Charge+'s six DC plugs are freely available most of the day and moderate at worst, but its three AC plugs get very tight in the evening, and from 11am at weekends.
SP Mobility has only two AC and two DC plugs here, and they are tight or very tight from 7am to 10pm.

What a typical charge costs here
Take a 30kWh top-up on a Charge+ 22kW AC plug, in a car that arrives at 10am on a weekday and takes up to 11kW on AC. Drivers should check what their own car takes.
- Time: about 2 hours 44 minutes at 11kW.
- Charge: S$20.26, at about S$0.68 per kWh.
- Parking: S$1.60 for the first hour plus 4 × S$0.80, so S$4.80 on a weekday. It is S$6.60 on a Saturday, Sunday, public holiday or the eve of a public holiday. The revolt.sg charger map also shows VivoCity's parking charges.
- Total: S$25.06 on a weekday, about S$0.84 per kWh, and S$26.86 at weekends.
- On SP Mobility's 43kW AC plugs: the time and parking are the same, as the car still takes only 11kW, but the charge would cost S$24.21, at about S$0.81 per kWh. The total would be S$29.01 on a weekday and S$30.81 at weekends.
