How the rate compares

Lowest listed rate in Singapore: S$0.34 per kWh, at the Schneider Electric Building on Kallang Avenue. Those chargers are for the staff who work there, not the public, and the revolt.sg charger map marks them "Restricted access".

Cheapest open to the public: S$0.43 per kWh, on a 7.4kW AC point run by Eneready at the Singapore Polytechnic Graduates' Guild on Dover Road (postal code 139658).

The median public rate: S$0.70 per kWh for AC. SP Mobility's rate here is above it.

Cheapest in each area: the Singapore EV Charging Price Index lists the cheapest public chargers in each part of the island.

When it is busy

SP Mobility's six plugs get very tight at weekends from 11am to 10pm, and tight on weekday evenings.

Parking

The T1/Jewel car park charges cars the rates below, every day and at any hour, and does not say whether they include GST. The revolt.sg charger map shows Jewel's parking charges too.

  • On B3, in General Parking, where the chargers are: S$0.65 for each 15-minute block.
  • On B2M and B2, in Short-term Parking, for the first 90 minutes: S$0.65 for each 15-minute block, then S$5 for every 30 minutes or part of it.

What a typical charge costs here

Take a 22kWh top-up on one of Jewel's 22kW AC plugs, in a car that takes up to 11kW on AC and leaves when charging ends. Drivers should check what their own car takes.

  • Charge: S$17.75, at about S$0.81 per kWh.
  • Parking: S$5.20 for the 2 hours on B3, at S$0.65 for each 15 minutes. It is the same on any day. The revolt.sg charger map also shows Jewel's parking charges.
  • Total: S$22.95, about S$1.04 per kWh.
  • On Charge+'s DC plugs at Terminal 2: the charge alone would cost S$16.54, at about S$0.75 per kWh, for a car with a Combo 2 (CCS2) socket.
