XPeng and Charge+ Launch SEA Fast-Charging Network, Singapore as Key Hub

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng has joined forces with Singapore-based charging operator Charge+ to launch an extensive fast-charging network across Southeast Asia. The partnership aims to address the growing demand for convenient and rapid charging solutions in the region, with Singapore serving as a key hub.

The new network will initially cover Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, with plans for further expansion into Indonesia and beyond. The collaboration will see the deployment of DC fast chargers with speeds of up to 350kW, offering significantly reduced charging times for EV owners. XPeng has also announced its intention to introduce its own 480kW charging technology to the network, which would enable a 10-80% charge in just 12 minutes — setting a new benchmark for charging speeds in the region.
